Registration is required
Our scheduled time is the first Tuesday of each month, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

We will be preparing, serving and cleaning up lunch for about 150 under the supervision of paid RMH staff. Meal prep will vary depending on that day's menu. Plan on standing/walking on a hard surface floor about 4 hours.

When you arrive, the kitchen is prepped for you with clean dishes, counters and floors. We ask that you leave it in the same way.
* Dishwashing of all pots and pans, and wiping down all tables and countertops with sanitizer.
* Basic sweeping of the floor areas and emptying of the kitchen and dining room trash receptacles (ongoing).
* Assistance with the loading & unloading of the dishwashers.
Volunteers may rotate among tasks.

Hair is to be tied back, under a hat or with a provided hair hair net. Comfortable closed toed shoes are required. Lunch is provided.

Use the South parking garage, which is entered directly across from the main hospital entrance. You may also park down the street on Birmingham Way. A few discounted parking vouchers ($4) are available, so please carpool.

This is a brief description of what to expect upon arrival at the House.

Please remove any hand/wrist jewelry and watches. Tank tops are not allowed.
Wear comfortable closed toed shoes.

Directly across from the main entrance of of Radys.
Remember which level you parked - always important - save the parking stub.

Take the elevator to the 7th floor - turn left to the main entrance.
Push the RED button to be buzzed in. (the button on the left)
At the reception desk, sign in on the yellow sheet and get a volunteer name tag.
