The GOYR Biking Schedule for the next three months is posted below. If the schedule changes, an email will be sent with the changes to members who have Biking as an interest in their profile.

Remember that the goal of this activity is for participants to have fun, get some exercise, and keep track of everyone. A few general notes for these rides are as follows:

  • Riding speed is generally 10 to 11 mph for Monday rides, and somewhat faster for the Long Bike Rides, depending on the participants.
  • Routes are primarily on flat, paved surfaces, mostly on dedicated bicycle paths, with some light-traffic roads.
  • We start and finish at the same location so that riders may ride only as far as they wish.
  • Riders need to inform the leaders if they turn around early, or plan to deviate from the course.
  • Most rides include a coffee stop midway through the ride and optional lunch after the ride.
  • Please bring water and energy bars if necessary.
  • Rain Cancels the event
