HIKE - San Clemente Canyon

About this event

HIKE - San Clemente Canyon
Often referred to as Marian Bear Memorial Park, this was the first canyon to be preserved by the city of San Diego. The natural riparian habitat is a pleasant relief from the population surrounding the park. Located right off State Route 52, it can be a little noisy, but it is still a respite from our normal everyday rat race. Fairly easy mostly level 3.6 mile hike.

Restroom available, any hiking shoe OK, bring water, poles might be nice for water crossings and gravel areas. If it has rained recently, then there might be some water crossings. Trails are dirt and gravel.

Directions: From CA-52 go south on Regents Road. Go 0.5 miles up the hill and make a U Turn and then back down the road and into the East Regents Road parking lot of the Marian Bear Memorial Park.
