HIKE TO THE WATERFALL AT LOS PENASQUITOS CANYON

Description: A hike to the Falls at Los Penasquitos Canyon is a tranquil event. This is one of several accesses to reach the falls, and begins at Camino Ruiz Community Park in Mira Mesa. A steady decent of approximately 3/4 mile brings us to the canyon trail which is a flat, steady hike to the falls. One can hear the water rushing as you approach.

Dogs on leash okay
Please bring a snack to share and relax at the picnic tables at the finish. Please put a chair in your trunk in case the picnic tables are all full

Directions:
From my I-15, take Mira Mesa Boulevard and go west. Turn right at Camino Ruiz. Continue straight for about a mile and a half straight into Camino Ruiz Community Park. Please park your car in the spaces provided as you enter the park. (please note Calle Cristobal bares to the left as you approach the park. Do not follow this road. Continue straight into the park.)
